Jonty Collins — Automation Freelancer

I build small tools that quietly do the jobs you'd rather not.

Every business has that pile of repetitive admin — the follow-ups, the check-ins, the copy-paste jobs — that eats hours nobody has spare. I'm the person who builds something to make it disappear. I taught myself by shipping a real product from scratch; now I do the same for other people's businesses.

Currently taking on a handful of new clients.
Who I am

Curious by nature — a dilettante, in the best sense.

I'm curious to a fault — the kind of person who has to understand how a thing actually works before I'll let it go. That instinct has pulled me through a few different worlds rather than one neat career path, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

My background is genuinely multidisciplinary, anchored by a first-class honours degree in sport and exercise science. I like going deep on a subject, then carrying what I've learned somewhere unexpected. A bit of a dilettante — happiest exploring a new industry and figuring out what makes it tick.

That's how Vault came about. I needed to track my own finances while earning in AUD inside a British system, and nothing out there did it properly — so I built it. Find a real problem, build the thing that fixes it. Now I do exactly that for other businesses: automation tools that quietly take the tedious work off their plate.

What I do

Think of me as your AI guy — minus the agency price tag.

You don't need a strategy deck or a six-month project. You need the one annoying job gone. I find it, build the tool, and hand you something that just works.

01

We find the time-sink

A quick chat, and it's usually obvious — the task you dread, the thing that eats your evenings, the job you keep putting off. That's where we start.

02

I build the tool

Something shaped around how you already work — not another app you have to bend your business to fit. Like my Check-in Co-Pilot, which turns a half-day of admin into a quick review.

03

I stick around

If it earns its place, I stay on call — keeping things running and building you something new each month, so you've always got someone who owns this stuff.

Vault

Privacy-first personal finance app

A finance app I built end-to-end with AI: budgeting, investment tracking, capital-gains-tax handling and crypto integration — privacy-first, no data harvesting. Proof that I can take an idea and ship a real, working product.

Check-in Co-Pilot

AI tool for personal trainers

A client submits a 60-second weekly check-in; the tool reads their history, flags anyone who needs a closer look, and drafts a personal reply in the trainer's own voice — ready to review and send. Turns a half-day of admin into a quick review.
